New Year. New Us.
Life Lafter 2018 is looking good! Hello 2019!
Hey friends! It's me, Leanne, and I can't tell you how relieved and excited I am for the new year. Last year was filled with unexpected surprises, new challenges that demanded growth, and opportunities to try new things. As a result, I have some big plans for 2019 and I'd love to share them with you.
First, I've already made some changes to the business. In case you hadn't noticed, we have a new logo! I loved the last one, but I feel we've evolved and I wanted something that reflects where we are going rather than where we've been. This new logo does exactly that. You may have noticed that I also dropped divorce from the name. Divorce has played a big role in my life, but it doesn't define me...or my business. It's time to spread these wings!
Go ahead and check out the new and improved website. I'm still making some tweaks here and there - like everything, it's a work in progress.
Since beginning this entrepreneurial journey in 2014, I've learned a ton. My experience with divorce and love for performing is what got me on this path. But my vision has evolved as I learned from you, our podcast guests who share their stories and expertise, students in my classes (way back when), coaching clients, and everyone I've met along the way. This journey has given me a new perspective and a bigger purpose. Becoming a coach has been life-changing, and the more I coach, the more I want to do more. And I want to do it with you.As for our podcast, Life Lafter Divorce, The Boyfriend and I will be temporarily stepping away from the mic. We've talked about divorce at length and feel that it's time to open ourselves up to broader topics. We plan to share even more knowledge and inspiration with you in the coming year. And...I closed the online store! With the exception of a few soaps and candles for giveaways, I sold all remaining inventory. Yes, I said giveaways! Stay tuned for more on that.
In the midst of all these changes, I don't want to lose touch with you. In fact, I want to get closer so we can engage in real conversations. I look forward to reaching out more often, even daily! No, not by email, that'd be annoying. I've created a new Facebook Group, Life Lafter Nation. I invite you to join me there.
Personally, The Boyfriend and I are starting the year off by setting some new goals, finding gratitude in the life we have, and spending time with our family. Although 2018 was challenging, we've grown closer to each other and to you, and want 2019 to be better in every way.
