Episode 012: Thoughts from Mom-nonymous
Episode 012: I Will Survive with special guest Carolyn Luckett
Well I did listen to you and The Boyfriend’s podcast. This one hit on a different line of experiences. Strange from the start. Not only did they both sign up for the military, but neither ended up going in. They had very different ideas on where this would go. She apparently did not have much girl talk with a close girlfriend or her Mom during any of this. I do understand that back then one didn’t admit to your Mom when you thought you made a mistake because of shame in marrying the wrong guy. But once it’s physical whom else would you trust to help???
She endured so much especially during her pregnancies and eventually leading into legally fighting over the kids. Unfortunately, it dragged on for a long time, but she is finally in a happy place today. Hopefully much smarter and a lot stronger. I wish her the best. She certainly shared it all.
The Boyfriend –I think you asked really good questions. The two of you did your research prior and that added a lot. Good podcast. Be proud. I am.
